How much can I earn as a developer?

During our 2026 launch year, developers share 50% of the premium revenue pool. Your earnings are based on your game's playtime as a percentage of total premium playtime. This rate may be adjusted in future years with 30 days notice.

What game engines are supported?

Currently we support Unity WebGL builds. Your game needs to be built for the WebGL platform and include our TikPlay SDK for receiving viewer interactions.

How do viewer interactions work?

You define an interactions.json file that maps TikTok events (likes, gifts, follows, shares) to actions in your game. When viewers interact during a stream, your game receives these events in real-time.

Revenue is calculated monthly and paid out via Stripe to your connected bank account. You can track your earnings and pending payouts in your developer dashboard.

Is there an approval process?

Yes, all games go through a review process to ensure quality and functionality. This typically takes 1-3 business days. Once approved, your game goes live automatically.

Can I update my game after it's live?

Yes! You can submit updates through your dashboard. Updates go through the same review process, and your current version stays live until the update is approved.
